Fresher’s checklist

Fresher’s checklist for degree students

Your first days and weeks at university are packed with new information and events. During your first days, you’ll meet your tutor and participate in orientations into the university, studying, and academic life. Your tutor is a volunteer who has studied at least a year. The University of Vaasa is a close-knit community, where help is always available.

On this page, we’ve gathered a Fresher checklist for you to ensure that the important information doesn’t get lost amidst the information and event overload. Check this list for the most important things to take care of first. If you are an exchange student, we have a list for you as well!

Follow VYY on Instagram and subscribe to our newsletter. Our Instagram and newsletter are the best channels to stay up to date on what's happening in the Student Union and what events are coming up next. The newsletter arrives in your inbox every other Monday, and in it, we share important information, current events, and best offers for students.
