Aino Hyyryläinen substitutes as Communications Specialist at VYY

The Executive Board of the Student Union of the University of Vaasa (VYY) has selected Aino Hyyryläinen to substitute as the Communications Specialist. Hyyryläinen started in the position at the end of January and will substitute until the end of April. As a Communications Specialist, they will be in charge of the student union’s communications together with the Executive Board.

“I’m eagerly looking forward to my months at the student union. Getting to communicate about themes that are important to students feels meaningful”, Hyyryläinen rejoices.

Hyyryläinen has graduated with a Master of Arts degree from the University of Vaasa. They have gained diverse experience from working in the culture sector and content writing, among others the VYY history published in 2018. They have also actively participated in events production and marketing through voluntary work at the Vaasa student theatre Ramppi.

“We’re thrilled to have an experienced actor like Aino on board. I believe Aino will bring fresh thoughts and reliable performance to developing VYY’s communications”, says Secretary General Lauri Tuohiniemi.
