Student Union office moves to new facilities

The office of the Student Union of the University of Vaasa will move to new facilities during week 13. The new offices are located in the Konttori building on campus at Puuvillakuja 8.

After selling the Domus Bothnica building, the student union has discussed the need to move into new facilities. The decision on the new office space was made at the VYY Representative Council meeting in early March. The new facilities are owned by the University of Vaasa.

"I am looking forward to moving the Student Union's office to the centre of the campus and closer to the other buildings that are central to the university's students. I hope that students will also be able to reach us easily from the new premises." Emma Lehtonen, Chair of the VYY Board, comments on the move.

The service office will be entered from the side of the building, that is closest to Fabriikki building, instead of the main entrance. When looked at from the front of the building, the entrance is at the left end. Accessible access to the office will always be provided from a separate entrance, when needed. So please feel free to contact us if you need an accessible entrance to the office.

The Student Union Service Office is closed due to the move from 27 March to 1 April. After Easter, the service office will be open in its new location during normal opening hours.
