VYY no longer accepts cash in the Service Office
From now on only cards are accepted as a payment method at the VYY Service Office.
The Board of the Student Union of the University of Vaasa has decided at their meeting to no longer accept cash as a payment method. The Board came to the decision due to the fact that cash is expensive to maintain. Cash payments are also made less than card payments currently.
In the future, debit and credit cards are accepted in the Service Office. Card payment is used for example when purchasing Student Union merchandise or paying for the booking of Leipätehdas.
