Among the electoral alliances, Warranttilaiset emerged as the largest group, winning 10 seats in the council and receiving the highest number of votes in the elections.  Tuttilaiset and the newly established Hallarit alliances followed as the second-largest groups, each securing six seats.

A total of 135 candidates representing seven different electoral alliances stood for election.
