The central election committee has confirmed the Representative Council election results

The central election committee for the Representative Council elections of the Student Union of the University of Vaasa (VYY) has confirmed the result for the Representative Council elections, which ended on 6 November 2025. In the elections, VYY's parliament and highest decision-making body, the 30-member Representative Council, was chosen.

A total of 135 candidates stood for election in seven different electoral coalitions. Voter turnout was 21,56 %, and 15,04 % of eligible voters used their vote in advance. The elections were held electronically.

The new Representative Council will convene for the first time on 25 November 2025, when it will elect its presidium and the formateur and chairperson-designate for VYY's Executive Board for next year.

Distribution of seats between council groups (change in seats compared to 2023 in parentheses):

• Warranttilaiset 10 (-2)
• Tuttilaiset 6 (0)
• Edustajistoryhmä Hallarit: 6 (+6, new electoral coalition)
• Kampusporvarit 4 (-2)
• Comedialaiset: 3 (+3, new electoral coalition)
• Vivahde: 1 (-2)
