The affects of coronavirus

The Government of Finland has issued a statement regarding the organization of major events and preventing the spread of coronavirus.  The Student Union of the University of Vaasa monitors the situation and acts according to the permits and recommendations issued by the authorities. In organizing future events, VYY acts responsibly and follows all regulatory guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The Student Union recommends that organizations within VYY act according to the official recommendations.

No decisions have been made on the organization of events or the activities of the Student Union, but we are awaiting guidance from the authorities. It is very important to act responsibly. It is of primary importance for every individual to remember good hand hygiene and avoid close contact, such as shaking hands.
