The Annual Ball coordinators have begun their work

The 58th Annual Ball of the Student Union of the University of Vaasa (VYY) will be celebrated in late winter, and this fall, VYY’s Executive Board chose Tuuli Koppanen and Erika Strömberg as Annual Ball coordinators.

Koppanen and Strömberg both study economics and business at the University of Vaasa and are familiar faces in their subject organization Warrantti’s Board. Working in the subject organization has given the duo experience in organizing events.

“I’m especially interested in the Annual Ball, because it’s such a unique event”, Koppanen shares her interest in applying to coordinate VYY’s ball.
Strömberg agrees: “I’ve represented in some annual balls, and it’s a dignified, elegant celebration. It’s lovely to get to leave our mark on VYY’s Annual Ball.”

The coordinators promise a cozy, warm-hearted atmosphere in the upcoming ball. They hope to see many VYY members gather to celebrate our Student Union.
“Our goal is to keep the price level reasonable, so as many members as possible can attend”, Strömberg describes.
